Basic CypeCAD Training Course - live, online video classes. Total of 40 hours, will be divided into 5 classes of 8 hours each, and will be held only on Saturdays.

CYPECAD is a BIM application for designing, analyzing and dimensioning building structures and infrastructure works, subjected to both vertical and horizontal actions and exposure to fire.

This course will teach you how to model, calculate and dimension building structures, subjected to horizontal, vertical actions and fire using CYPECAD software.

Calculate and dimension:

Supports: Columns (concrete, metal, mixed and wood), walls (concrete) and walls (concrete, masonry and reinforced blocks).

Beams: Concrete, metal and mixed.

Slabs: Beams, honeycomb, mixed, lightweight fungiform, solid, post-tensioned (unidirectional, lightweight fungiform and solid).

Node and bar structures: Made of concrete, steel, aluminum, wood and generic material (the latter only calculation of forces).

Foundations: Slabs, foundation beams, footings and pile caps.

Metal connections: Welded and bolted (including tie plates).

Plates: Calculation of forces of concrete, rolled steel, formed steel, aluminum or generic material plates.
